Fatal Tractor Accident In Schuyler

A farming accident has left one man dead in the town of Schuyler.
State police say 59 year old Wayne Johnson Sr., of Johnson Road was clearing scrap metal from his property when he became pinned between the bucket of his tractor and a large piece of scrap metal.

Johnson was pinned between the two for an unknown amount of time before being found by a passing motorist. He was moved from the scene by the Schuyler Fire Department and was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica where he was pronounced dead.
