A father and son are facing numerous charges following an incident on Kossuth Avenue in Utica.

Utica Police say a man told officers he was having an argument with a neighbor who threatened to shoot his house up.

Soon after, he saw the neighbor with a rifle and then heard a shot.

Officers were able to surround the neighbor's house and made attempts to contact 32-year old Jason Badger.

Police say the suspect's father, 52-year old Todd Badger arrived on the scene and refused to leave.

He allegedly fought with officers as they tried to take him into custody and at one point, attempted to take an officer's taser from his holster.

Jason Badger eventually came out of the house and surrendered.

Police say they found a loaded  rifle inside the home.

The two men are facing charges including criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.
