Rome, NY (WIBX) - A motor vehicle accident in the City of Rome sends a father and daughter to the hospital. Officials with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office say 43-year-old Edward Cosimeno and his 11-year-old daughter were traveling on a motorcycle when 74-year-old Janet E. Terrier failed to yield the right of way. Terrier was attempting to make a left hand turn on to Seifert Road. Officials say Cosimeno was unable to avoid the collision. Both Cosimeno's were taken to the hospital with leg and foot fractures.

Terrier was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way while making a left hand turn, and Cosimeno was ticketed for operating the motorcycle out of class.
