California Churchgoers Pray at Tree, Claim It Weeps God's Tears

A Crape Myrtle tree outside St. John's Cathedral in Fresno is crying "tears of God," according to believers who have gathered at the tree to pray. "When you say glory be to God in Jesus’ name the tree starts throwing out more water," Maria Ybarra says. Indeed, the tree does sprinkle liquid on those below. However, arborist Jon Reelhorn provides a natural explanation: The liquid is honey dew, a secretion from the insect known as the aphid. He says that other trees in the area exhibit the same dripping.

Angel Priest from Missouri Identified

The mysterious "angel" priest who miraculously appeared at a horrific crash site in Missouri, comforted the victim, then vanished into thin air has been identified. He is Rev. Patrick Downing of the Jefferson City Diocese. Rev. Downing says he had conducted Mass in nearby Ewing, subbing for an ill priest, when he happened upon the wreck. (Explains why nobody recognized him.) He parked behind a large vehicle. (Explains why nobody saw him drive up or leave). He then anointed and prayed over Katie Lenz, then "stepped aside" to silently pray the rosary. (Explains why he's not in any of the pictures.) Only one mystery is explained: How Lenz survived the crash.

The Bathroom Law - On-Air Debate of Gender Confusion Law

On Monday, California became the first state to protect rights for transgender K-12 students in state law, requiring public schools to allow those students access to whichever restroom and locker room they want. The bill allows transgender students "to participate in sex-segregated programs, activities and facilities," based on their self-identification and regardless of birth gender. That includes them choosing whether they want to play boys' or girls' sports. Supporters said it will help reduce bullying and discrimination against transgender students. Critics, however, said allowing students of one gender to use facilities intended for the other could invade the other students' privacy.

Utica College Hockey Coach Gary Heenan On-Air

Utica College Head Hockey Coach Gary Heenan was in-studio talking about facts and fiction surrounding the the U.C. Pioneers and the new Utica Comets.  The Pioneers hockey schedule is out and there are plenty of Friday and Saturday home games at the Aud.

Keeler asked questions about advertising with the Pioneers, season tickets, and the fact that Gary almost took a coaching job in Alaska.  Heenan laid it all on the line in this two part interview.
