Fidelis Partners With Faxton To Offer County Residents Insurance

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County's uninsured residents have the opportunity to apply for free or low cost insurance through Fidelis Care.
Fidelis is working with Faxton Urgent Care to offer residents access to various programs, including New York State's Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus and Medicaid Advantage Plus.

Representatives will be at Faxton Urgent Care on Sunset Avenue in Utica to answer questions and help people apply. Residents may meet with representatives on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 11 a.m. until  p.m. and on Wednesdays and Fridays, from noon until 4 p.m.

Those hoping to  apply should bring with them proof of age, income and their address.

According to Fidelis, there are about 20,000 uninsured adults between the ages of 19 and 64 living in Oneida County. In addition, there are another 4,100 uninsured children under the age of 19.
