Final Community Development Block Grant Advisory Meeting For 2012

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Tonight the final hearing is taking place for the Community Development Block Grant's ("CDBG") Citizen Advisory Committee.

The Community Development Block Grant program is a service of the Housing and Urban Development office.  It is a federal program that provides grant money and resources to approved programs in qualified communities.

It is the last opportunity during this funding year for members of the public to share how they feel federal grant money should be spent.

The meeting will take place at the BOCES Access Center located in Utica at 508 Second Street beginning at 6:30pm.
