Today marks the unofficial end of summer.

Labor Day is quickly followed by the first day of a new school year for most students, and the end of the vacation season for the rest of us.

You still have today, though.

It's the final day of the New York State Fair in Syracuse. If you're heading out to the fair, bring some patience. It's dollar-day at the fair, and because it's the final day - expect big crowds.

Additionally, it's the last day of the racing season at Saratoga. Spectators will have a chance to have a picture taken with the Triple Crown trophy. Post time is 12:30 this afternoon.

A Heat Advisory is in place in much of central New York.

Whether your headed to the fair, the track or somewhere closer to home, be sure to stay hydrated.
