Fire at Huron Campus Building in Endicott

Endicott firefighters were called to the Huron Campus to battle a blaze in a building off North Street.

The fire in the facility's powerhouse complex was reported just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Village fire units assisted Huron security employees in attacking the blaze in the upper section of Building 39.

The fire was brought under control in less than 30 minutes.

The structure where the blaze occurred is just north of the building which houses hundreds of BAE Systems employees. The BAE building was not evacuated.

No injuries were reported.
