Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica firefighters battled a structure fire just after 2:00 this morning at 1705 Erie Street.

The vacant building, which is owned by the City, sustained severe fire damage, which resulted in the collapse of the roof.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Meanwhile, Chief Fire Marshal Raymond Beck says the investigation into this week's deadly fire on Schuyler Street continues.

Beck says all evidence, including physical evidence and interviews, is in the process of being reviewed by investigators.
