Looking for places to watch fireworks around Central New York for the Independence Day holiday?

Editor's Note - You've found the 2014 4th of July listings. While much of the information stays the same year after year, the 2015 updated listing is here.

Unless stated, all fireworks shows start as dusk.

Sylvan Beach

The first fireworks of Independence Day week happen in Sylvan Beach. The fireworks are planned for Wednesday July 2.

Utica

Utica's 4th of July celebration includes a parade along a portion of Genesee Street and Memorial Parkway from Our Lady of Lourdes Church to the Parkway Rec Center at 11AM.

Utica's fireworks are Friday night at Proctor Park.

Clinton

Clinton's 4th of July festivities include an evening parade downtown around the Village Green. The fireworks are at dusk at Clinton High School with viewing throughout the village.

Hamilton

Hamilton's 4th of July parade begins at 10:30am

Old Forge

Old Forge will again play host to the North Country's best 4th of July celebration with music at the lakefront and fireworks over the Old Forge Pond.

Boonville

UPDATE: Due to weather, the Boonville fireworks have been rescheduled from Thursday to Sunday night. They will still take place at Erwin Park at dusk. Music begins at 7PM

Rome

Romans can see fireworks during the Honor America Days celebration on Saturday night July 26.
