First “Contineer Cup” Game Wednesday

If the rivalry between Utica College and Hamilton College wasn't big enough, now comes the first "Contineer Cup" for the schools Men's Lacrosse teams.  The 2 teams will also be playing for a great cause too!

The Inaugural Contineer Cup game will this Wednesday afternoon at 4 at Utica College's Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.   The teams will also take part in a "Pink" initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness.

The players will wear pink practice jerseys during warm-ups and pink socks throughout the contest.   All proceeds from the event will go to the Perfect Fit Boutique of the Regional Cancer Center of Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.   There will be a 50/50 raffle throughout the game and half of the winnings will go to the foundation while the other half will go to the winner.   A donation table will also be set up in front of the stadium.

The Contineer name is a combination of Continentals and Pioneers.
