Florence Man Charged In Domestic Dispute

Florence, NY (WIBX) - A Town of Florence man is facing charges after allegedly damaging a vehicle during a domestic dispute at his home.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 26-year old Martin Hughes was arrested after he drove his wife's pickup truck into the hitch of a parked, flatbed car trailer that was parked at the end of the driveway alongside the house.

Hughes was charged with felony criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies say his wife and young child were standing next to the house when Hughes struck the trailer.
