Florence Teen Charged With Sexually Abusing A Child

A Florence teen has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a child in the spring of 2015.

State Police received a report that was called into the New York State Child Abuse hotline and turned the case over to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center for investigation.

The 17-year old boy is charged with sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.

An order of protection has been issued on behalf of the victim.

The victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
