Florida Driver Finds Owl Stuck in Car Grill

There are lots of animals we put on the grill but don’t expect to find under the grills of our cars. Florida resident Sonji Coney William was surprised to find a Great Horned Owl peering out at her from behind the radiator in her SUV. She thinks it got stuck there when she accidentally ran into it 24 hours before. She said: “I was driving about 60 miles per hour and the bird never moved. I felt so bad [for hitting it], but it was very dark and we didn’t pull over.“ The bird was safely removed by Florida Fish & Wildlife authorities, so she didn’t get to find out what grilled owl tasted like.
