Florida Man Arrested On Weapons Charge

A traffic stop on Rome-Taberg Road in Rome has led to a felony charge against a Florida man.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says during the stop, a deputy smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The deputy allegedly found metal knuckles in the vehicle, which are illegal to possess in New York state.

24-year old Adam Cutler was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon due to having a prior conviction.
