Floyd Bomber Sentenced On Federal Charges

An Ohio man who admitted to planting a bomb that critically injured a state corrections officer was sentenced on Monday in U.S. District Court in Syracuse.

59-year old Keith Seppi will serve 35 years in prison on federal charges and five years of supervised release after he completes his sentence.

Seppi pleaded guilty to using a destructive device in relation to a crime of violence and possessing a destructive device in furtherance of a crime of violence.

Seppi, his wife and his wife's sister were all charged in the case.

All three defendants previously pleaded guilty in Oneida County Court.

Donna Seppi was sentenced to a one and-a-third to four-year prison sentence for her role, while Cindy Shields was sentenced to 12 years in state prison.

Alan Dobransky was seriously injured in May of 2016 when a bomb delivered to his home in Floyd exploded.
