The three Ohio residents accused of sending an explosive device that injured a state corrections officer were in Oneida County Court today.

Keith Seppi, Cindy Shields and Donna Seppi are facing several charges, including attempted murder, assault and reckless endangerment.

All three were offered a plea deal.  The terms were not disclosed.  They'll be back in court on September 13th to decide whether to accept the offer.

Alan Dobransky was critically injured when he opened a package that was delivered to his home in Floyd in May.

Authorities say Shields had been working as the caretaker for Dobransky's mother for four years and allegedly stole money from her.

They say Dobransky had planned to make a report to law enforcement in Ohio.
