Floyd Man Charged With Having Sexual Contact With A Child

A Floyd man has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a child.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says 70-year old Arthur Treen is accused of having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 13 in the Town of Floyd.

Treen was charged with felony sexual abuse.  He was arraigned in the Village of New York Mills Court and was sent to the Oneida County Jail on bail.

The victim has been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
