Forestport Man Charged With Forcibly Touching UCP Client

A Forestport man has been arrested for allegedly touching the private parts of an Upstate Cerebral Palsy client.

40-year old Alan Schmelzle was charged with forcible touching.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says Schmelzle was tasked with transporting day clients to volunteer work sites in the community.

They say on three occasions, Schmelzle touched the intimate parts of a 24-year old female UCP client at works sites in Forestport and the Town of Trenton.
