Former Miami Dolphins quarterback and Super Bowl Sunday correspondent Dan Marino is confirming that he had a relationship with a CBS Sports production assistant that led to the birth of a daughter, Chloe, back in 2005.

The "New York Post" identifies the mother as Donna Savattere.

Marino and his wife, Claire, have six children together.  Savattere reportedly received "millions" of dollars from the 51-year old Marino, who is accepting full responsibility for the affair, saying he and Chloe's mom worked out a confidential agreement.  He says that he and Claire remain happily married.  They celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.

After Chloe's birth Savattere had moved to Texas but has married and returned to the New York area.
