Authorities say former Major League Baseball pitcher Frank Castillo died in a drowning accident Sunday near his Arizona home. Castillo was on a pontoon boat on Bartlett Lake in Arizona Sunday with a friend. The unidentified friend said Castillo decided to go swimming. When Castillo did not resurface, the friend called 911. Castillo's body was recovered on Monday.

Castillo played 13 seasons in the MLB with the Cubs, Rockies, Tigers, Blue Jays, Red Sox, and Florida Marlins. He was 82-104 with a 4.56 ERA.
