ESPN.com is reporting that former NFL head coach Dennis Green died Friday morning at the age of 67. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Green's wife told sources that the 13 year veteran coach died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Green coached the Minnesota Vikings for ten seasons, reaching the playoffs eight times and making it as far as the NFC Championship in 1998 and again in 2000. His Vikings finished the 1998 regular season with a record of 15-1.

He also coached the Arizona Cardinals for three seasons, and before that was head coach at both Northwestern University and Stanford.
