Former Rome Animal Hospital Employee Arrested

An investigation by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and the Syracuse Office of the DEA has led to the arrest of a Forestport woman.

Authorities say that between April of 2014 and April of this year, 23-year old Corinne Marmom allegedly stole a quantity of Tramadol tablets from the Rome Animal Hospital.

Marmom was working at the hospital as Veterinarian Technician. Investigators say she falsified entries on the business' Controlled Substance Logs to cover up for the Tramadol tablets that she had stolen

Marmom was charged with falsifying business records.
