Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Speaks About Current Affairs

Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia, Thomas Pickering spoke to WIBX's Bill Keeler on Thursday before his speaking engagement at Hamilton College.

Pickering who was also the ambassador to the United Nations, Israel and others, spoke about everything from North Korea and the Iran Nuclear deal to the decisions being made by President Trump.

Pickering spent over 40 years serving the nation as an ambassador to foreign countries and before that in the 1950's, he served in the United States Navy.  He was first appointed as ambassador to Nigeria in 1981 by President Ronald Reagan.
