Foundation Announces $25,000 Entrepreneurial Initiative

Do you have an idea for a new business in downtown Utica?

If so, the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties wants to hear from you.

The Foundation has launched an entrepreneurial initiative to help bring more businesses downtown.

The Impact Opportunity Challenge is open to individuals or groups that have an innovative business concept for one of four Utica neighborhoods -- Downtown, Bagg's Square, the Brewery District and Bleecker Street/East District.

The winning submission will be eligible to receive up to $25,000 in funding.
