New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - Four Utica women are facing charges following an alleged theft at Macy's in Sangertown Square Mall.

Police say Lakia Dickson, Shaquayia Jackson, Dijonnaie Spratt and Erica Austin were arrested, after a Macy's Loss Prevention Officer reported being struck by the vehicle while trying to stop the incident. The car then fled the scene.

Police were able to locate the vehicle, and the women, on Steuben Street.

Jackson, Spratt and Dickson are charged with one count of petit larceny, and Dickson faces an additional charge of harassment.

Austin is charged with Reckless Endangerment, Unlicensed Operation, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Motor Vehicle Accident.

The women were released, and are scheduled to appear in the Town of New Hartford Court. Officials say more charges are possible.
