Four people were arrested after Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies allegedly found materials used to manufacture methamphetamine at home on Route 49 in Verona.

Deputies had been called to the home to check on the welfare of three young children staying there.

34-year old Raymond Brower of Rome and 25-year old Jamie Baker of Verona were both charged with one count of unlawful manufacture of meth and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

44-year old Amy Myers of Verona and 36-year old Christopher Hildenbrandt of Rome were both charged with unlawful manufacture of meth.

Authorities say the three children -- ages four, five and eight  -- were removed from the home and placed in the custody of family members.

Further charges are pending against all four defendants.
