Utica, NY (WIBX) - A multi-vehicle accident on Genesee street involved two police vehicles responding to a 911 call. The preliminary report from UPD Sergeant and Public Information Officer, Steve Hauck states that Officer Anthony Hensel crashed into another vehicle being operated by Anthony Parisi of Utica, at the intersection of Genesee and Court Street. Another officer traveling East on Court Street, attempted to avoid the collision, but was struck by Officer Hensel as well.

Officials say the crash caused Parisi's vehicle to collide with another car being operated by John Tamba of Utica, who was traveling behind him. Parisi, the only injured party, was treated for pain at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Police are currently investigating the four car crash and say at this time, no tickets have been issued.
