Four People Recovering After Two-Car Accident In Rome

Four people are recovering after a two-car accident on Oswego Road in Rome.

20-Year old Kevin Campbell of Cicero allegedly lost control of his car and swerved into traffic, striking 65-year old Kenneth Weismore's car, injuring him and two other passengers.

The other passengers were 22-year old Cory Chesebro of Blossvale and 20-year old Joshua Mathis of Rome.

The City of Rome Fire Department had to extricate the passengers, who were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

Oneida County Sheriffs say Campbell was ticketed for failure to keep right.
