Frankfort Business Wins $25k Grant

Frankfort, NY (WIBX) - A Frankfort business owner is $25,000 richer after winning a national grant.

Connie Castellano, owner of Heart and Soul Events, won one of three small business grants in October as part of Intuit's Love A Local Business grant competition. Castellano's business is also eligible to win a $50,000 grant from the company.

Heart and Soul Events provides services for weddings, parties, showers and other events. Castellano says the money from the grant allows her to work on her business full time while opening up a storefront for her company.

Intuit's "Love A Local Business" grant competition plans to give away $1 million dollars worth of small business grants through March 2012.
