Frankfort Man Arrested On Counterfeit Charges

Frankfort, NY (WIBX) - State Police arrested a Frankfort man after executing a search warrant at the former Mr. L's store on East Main Street in Frankfort.

64-year old Robert Lavalla was charged with trademark counterfeiting and criminal tax fraud.

Police say they seized over $9,000 worth of counterfeit merchandise, including purses, North Face jackets, Ugg footwear and professional sports jackets and hats.

They also found 18 cartons of untaxed cigarettes valued at about $1,000.
