Frankfort Woman Charged With Welfare Fraud

A Frankfort woman has been arrested on welfare fraud charges for allegedly receiving $1,746 in benefits she was not entitled to.

The Herkimer County Sheriff's Office says 39-year old Jacqueline Williams received the state benefits from December 2014 to August 2015.

Williams is charged with welfare fraud and grand larceny.

She was arraigned in the City of Little Falls Court and sent to the Herkimer County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail.
