Utica, NY (WIBX) - "How's My Driving?" stickers are going on all Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare vehicles after a partnership with DriverCheck, a program aimed at promoting driver safety. The organization said it partnered with the company because driving is a major part of their operation, and ensuring safe driving habits is beneficial to its employees and patients.Residents will now see the toll-free number 1-888-818-8338, along with specific hospital identification numbers on the rear of all St. Luke's vehicles that they can use to report good and bad driving behavior. Officials with the hospital say the data collected will be used to reward or train vehicle operators. Risk Manager and Associate Council at FSHL, Stephanie Nesbitt said, "We believe safe driving is an important part of our healthcare mission within the community." She said the data collected will be used to implement training and educational programs and added that, "If a driver receives a compliment, he or she will be rewarded."
