New Hartford Police are asking motorists to avoid the Wilbur Road area for the next several hours due to a motor vehicle accident and fuel spill.
The North-South Arterial is closed in both directions starting at the Yahnundasis intersection to the Town Line.
The “cloverleaf” Rt 5/8/12 interchange is also closed.
There are reports that 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled on the highway.
