Fugitive Arrested By State Police

A New York State prison inmate was charged with being a fugitive from justice after being released from custody.

State Police say 58-year old Yip Chan is wanted by the Ocean County, New Jersey Sheriff's Department for a probation violation.

Chan is being held in the Oneida County jail without bail pending extradition proceedings.
