A new craft brewery is celebrating after a successful Independence Day weekend.

"The Beer Next Door" catches up with the Fulton Chain Craft Brewery in Old Forge, New York, which has just celebrated the end of its second full week in business.

Self-described as "friends owned and operated," the Fulton Chain Craft Brewery's owners are Richard Mathy and Justin Staskiewicz.

The two met while on a camping trip with their families a decade ago.  After several chance meetings over the course of a few years the two became friends, and eventually best friends.

The brewery run by Mathy and Staskiewicz sources approximately 85-percent of its products from New York State.  They are, as Staskiewicz says, aiming for one hundred percent.

Mathy says he is humbled by all of the attention that the Fulton Chain Craft Brewery is receiving, and he could never have imagined the success that they would achieve just a year and one month after launching a Kickstarter campaign to get the brewery off of the ground.  He says that the whole experience is humbling.

They have four brews currently on tap and plan to make about half a dozen more available in the coming year.

More on the Fulton Craft Brewery will featured on "The Beer Next Door," a documentary  being released in 2016, a portion of which will be featured on WUTR on July 30, 2015.
