The New York Giants season has hit rock bottom. What else could go wrong?

The stumbling and seemingly defense-less Giants lost to previously winless San Francisco 31-21 on Sunday, allowing the 'Niners to score on plays for 83, 47 and 33 yards.

New York - thought to be a top defensive squad entering the season - has been outscored 106-45 during the teams current three game losing streak and will have to face the high octane Chiefs in MetLife Stadium next Sunday.

C.J. Beathard threw for 288 yards, two scores and an interception. Carlos Hyde didn't have either of San Francisco's two rushing TDs, but did pace the ground game with 98 yards.

Sterling Shepard caught 11 passes for 142 yards. Eli Manning had 273 yards in the air and connected for scores with both Evan Engram and Roger Lewis.

The 1-8 Giants host Kansas City next Sunday (1:00 - CBS).

San Francisco improved to 1-9 heading into its bye week.
