New York City's last English speaking cab driver is featured on WIBX First News with Keeler in the Morning on Tuesday.  Peter reports from the streets of NYC with the hot topics of the day.

Franklin says this week's big story is Mayor Michael Bloomberg's latest health recommendation:  take the stairs and not the elevator.

Franklin says Mayor Bloomberg announced that he would like folks to stop using the elevators and use the stairs in NYC buildings as a healthy thing.

"Maybe he wants one of these stairs to be built in our city. Spiral staircase in the Taihang Mountains. At the boundary between the provinces of Shanxi and Henan , China. This spiral staircase is almost 100 meters," said Franklin.
