33 new high quality, energy efficient apartments were unveiled to the public in Utica at the site of the former 'Castle' on the corner of Oneida and Hobart Streets.

The new apartments are part of a project between Housing Visions, New York State Homes and Community Renewal, and the City of Utica.

New York State Homes and Community Renewal Vice President Bret Garwood says the project is a solid partnership and makes a difference in the Utica community.

The new Genesee Crossing development will be offered to families and senior citizens.

The project has replaced vacant lots with 12 two story homes and and one three story building for seniors.
