Gas Leak Under Control At 84 Lumber In Oriskany
Oriskany, NY (WIBX) - A gas leak is under control at 84 Lumber Company in Oriskany. Firefighters and police responded to the scene after a lawn mower driver hit a gas line, while operating the large machine.
According to Oriskany Police, the crash damaged a main gas line leading into the building. The officer on the scene says it could have been worse…but thankfully, firefighters were able to shut the gas off at the site of the crash, limiting the amount of gas that escaped. National Grid has responded, and work is underway to repair the damage.
