Gas Price Increases Begin To Slow
May 6, 2011 10:16 AM Utica, NY (WIBX) – There’s finally a little bit of good news at the gas pumps.
AAA’s Ed Welsh says prices are up again this week, but only a tenth-of-a-cent since yesterday.
The average price in the Utica-Rome market is $4.09 a gallon
Welsh says the price of oil closed below $100 a barrel for the first-time since mid-March on Thursday
He says if prices remain under $100 a barrel for the next four or five days, we should see starting seeing it at the pump in about a week.
