Gas Prices Continue To Climb

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The surge in gas prices we saw at the end of the year gas cintinued into the first week of 2011.AAA's Ed Welsh says the averaage price in the Utica-Rome area is $3.29 a gallon.

That's up a penny from last week and 10 cents from a month ago.

Last year at this tme, we were paying $2.89.

Welsh says there are currently 30 state, along with the District of Columbia, averaging above $3.00 a gallon.
