Gas Prices Continue To Fall

Utica, NY (WIBX) -Gas prices continue their downward spiral across central New York.

AAA's Ed Welsh say the average price for a gallon in gas in the Utica-Rome market is $3.74 a gallon.

That's down 25 cents over the past month and 40 cents over the last six weeks.

Welsh says the main reason for the drop is falling crude oil prices, which have hit around $83 dollars a barrel.

Last year this time, we were paying $3.92 cents a gallon.
