Gas Prices Continue To Tumble

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Here's some good news for your wallet.  Gas prices continue to decline.

AAA's Ed Welsh says the average price for a gallon of gas in the Utica-Rome market is $3.98 a gallon, down 7-cents from last week and 15-cents over four weeks.

Welsh says crude oil prices have dropped $9 a barrel in one week, leading to the decline at the pumps.

He says fortunately, prices never reached the peaks that were predicted

Welsh says prices peaked at $4.17 a gallon on April 17th and have been going down ever since.
