Gas Prices Holding Steady…For The Moment
Almost 70-percent think that the President and Congress have the power to control the price of gas.
AAA’s Ed Welsh agrees, and explains that the price of gas relies heavily on speculation about the economy, not on the amount of oil available.
Welsh said he expects gas prices to peak in April or May this year. Right now gas in the Utica-Rome area is averaging $3.97 a gallon.
