Gas Prices On The Rise

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Gas prices are on the rise again this week.

AAA's Ed Welsh says the average price in the Utica-Rome market is at $3.83 a gallon an increase of two-cents from last week.Welsh says the recent storms which caused refineries to shutdown are to blame for the increase.

Bust Welsh says he expects to see a 20-cent drop in prices by the end of the month as the winter blend gasoline is put into the marketplace.

We're paying about a $1.05 cents a gallon more than we were at this time last year.
