Gas Prices On The Rise

Utica, NY (WIBX) - It's costing more to fill up your gas tank.

The average price for a gallon of gas in the Utica-Rome market is up 7 cents over the past ten days to $3.59.

AAA's Ed Welsh say he expect the increase to only be temporary.

Welsh says prices should remain steady or go up just slightly over the next few weeks.

Before this week's increase, gas prices had fallen or held steady for 20 consecutive weeks.
