Gas Prices On The Rise

The price for a gallon of gas in the Utica-Rome market is going up.

AAA's Ed Welsh says the average price is $3.67 a gallon, up two cents from last week.

That's the first increase since February 26th.

Welsh says the summer blend gas is starting to reach the markets, leading to the price hike.

He expects prices to continue to climb as the summer driving season nears.

Last year at this time, we were paying an average of $3.96 a gallon.
