The Genesis Group held its 11th annual Community Forum at the Radisson Hotel in Utica on Friday.

Federal, state and local elected officials talked about issues affecting the region.

Some of the topics discussed were economic development, consolidation and raising the state's minimum wage.

Ray Durso, Executive Director of the Genesis Group, says it's a chance of bring the community together to engage with their elected leaders at one table.

Officials taking part in today's forum included Congressman Richard Hanna, Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente, State Senators Joseph Griffo and James Seward, Assembly members Anthony Brindisi, Marc Butler, and Claudia Tenney,  Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri, Rome Mayor Jacqueline Izzo and Herkimer County Legislative Chairman Bernard Peplinski.
