Genesis Group Holds Elected Leaders Forum

A number of local elected officials gathered at the Radisson Hotel in Utica Friday morning for the Genesis Group's 12th annual Elected Leaders Community Forum.

Senator Joseph Griffo, Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi, Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri and Rome Mayor Jacqueline Izzo were among those in attendance.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente says cooperation among the elected officials is the key to getting things done.

Some of the topics discussed at today's forum included job creation, the Marcy Nano site, infrastructure and consolidation.

Over 300 people attended the forum.
